George the monkey...

So the time actually came, he left traveled for a few days during which I was able to talk to him a ton! He could use facebook a lot while they were on bases that were safe for them, and I even got to Skype him today!

He has been so sweet about telling me he loves me every chance he gets, part of me thinks its making it harder because when he says good morning I'm just going to bed and every time it hits me that he is half way around the world! But the other part is so grateful for the past few days and hearing I love you at least a hundred times! I have started a list of things to send him although there is a small window of time I'll actually be able to send him anything. I have been planning our lives out for the mean time trying to stay busy. And making a list of things to do when he returns!

Here is a fun fact about Sean and I.... When we first dated he named my favorite stuffed animal for me. It is very odd but the stuffed monkey I sleep with every night has never had a name since I got it many years ago. I think it was the second or third time Sean came over to my house and we were sitting there talking and I told him that I was a little embarrassed that I still slept with a stuffed animal and that he didn't actually have a name. Sean took it upon himself to name it, his name is now George. (yes I realize that is the least creative name for a monkey ever but you got to love that he named it) It must have been fate that George didn't have a name because now every night when I go to bed in Sean's t-shits and cuddle George it is as close to him as I'll get for a while!

Anyways, saying goodbye was so difficult, it was a "goodbye I don't know when I'll get to talk to you again" goodbye which was so incredibly hard on me and him I'm sure. I had a major breakdown and as much as I wanted to tell him how badly I was hurting because he always knows how to make me feel better I just couldn't bring myself to telling him because I know it would break his heart to know I'm hurting so badly. Staying strong for him while he is out there is the least I can do for everything he has ever done for me. God knows he is staying strong for me!

We almost....

So I unexpectedly got to go visit Sean before he left!!! The trip was a whirlwind few days and I couldn't of asked for a better time! I completely feel in love with him all over again and while I thought this would make saying goodbye harder it gave me that extra push I needed to make it till his return!
The trip started out on a bad foot my connecting flight got canceled but Sean, being my knight in shining armor he is, drove 3 hours to get me! He picked me up and I slide right into my favorite spot cuddled next to him while he drove us home. We had a great first night (6/15/12) with all of his friends that I had met on skype already and finally got to met in person! It was a night full of laughter and relaxing.
Saturday (6/16/12) morning we woke up and a big group of us went to the BEACH! I have never been to the east coast ocean and it was a blast! The boys were determined to blow all of their money since they are leaving and will have no time to spend it over there! We rented jet skis and got to spend a few hours on them!! Sean's main goal was to love me off and he was successful many times, I came home with a few bruises. He also let me take the jet ski out by myself, turns out that wasn't a good idea I flipped myself over and lost the key to jet ski (that is suppose to float might I add) one of the guys saw me and went to the dock to get another key while I waited. We decided to play a little joke on Sean and I made him believe the key to the jet ski was going to cost 85 bucks to replace, which only turned out bad for me because I got thrown off more for messing with him.
Sean also got a ticket for not wearing his seat belt while we driving out to the beach and another one the day after I got home. Typical military boys never following the rules....
The rest of the trip was full of a lot of quality time together and a lot of beer. We almost got married my last day there (6/18/12), we wouldn't of had time to get everything done for him to really get any benefits from it (or me) but I know he would of just felt so much better coming home to a wife. Time just flew by so quickly, but we have decided that when he returns we will get married!! HUGE step but when it's right it's right! I love him with all my heart and wouldn't imagine being with anyone else for the rest of my life! So at least I can look forward to planning a wedding while he is gone!

                      It's always been you....

New adventure

So this is a new adventure for me, not one I'm that thrilled about but none the less a new one. Sean, my boyfriend is leaving with the rest of his friends in the Army, as they would put it, they are going on vacation. I picture vacation as a nice beach with a beer in my hand, but if that's how they want to look at it then maybe they will come home relaxed and not stressed, maybe?
Anyways, this is going to be tough, I can already tell from the looks of sympathy I get from people who see his dog tags around my neck.
I have been focused with getting closer to true friends, ones that understand what this feels like and one that will keep me from going completely insane.
My goals are that he can come home safely on an airplane with a heart beat, my only rule for him! Also, that he can read all of this and know that I was okay while he was gone. There will be the whole story about Sean when I have nothing else to post about its a story to say the least! Lets just leave it at he has always been the one, it just took me a while to see.

             It has always been you....
